Software Engineering Manager - Stratipath AB (Stockholm, Sweden)
We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join the Stratipath team. In this role, you will lead and manage development of Stratipath Foundation Services. You will be responsible for efficient delivery of solutions that meet business, quality, and customer needs. In this role you will lead the development team, mentor team members, communicate with stakeholders (internal and external), plan and manage projects, contribute to technical documentation, ensure adherence to quality standards and oversee deployment.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the product development team, product management, senior management and external partners and suppliers and contribute to everything from product requirements, risk analysis, quality assurance, test and validation planning, documentation, regulatory affairs and ensures that development projects meet time and quality targets. Your main responsibility is to lead software engineering on a technical level.
Areas of responsibility
- Lead development of Stratipath Foundation Services
- Lead software architecture and design, specifications, development, documentation, change management, quality assurance and maintenance.
- Contribute high quality testable code, review code
- Lead and mentor the development team
- Recruit top talented team members
- Enable and support the team, drive professional development
- Project planning and execution
- Work closely with the R&D team, RA/QA, and product management
- Work together with external commercial partners
- Organise and lead outsourcing
- Responsibility for an efficient development process
- Responsibility for documentation and adherence to internal and external quality standards, including those related to regulatory requirements for medical devices.
Who You Are
- Comprehensive experience: C#, .NET
- Substantial experience: Linux, SQL, containerization (e.g. docker, kubernetes), integrations, cloud deployment (e.g. azure, openstack, AWS)
- You have experience in leading a development team
- You have at least 5 years of experience in senior role. 5 years of working experience within an agile R&D organisation, and >10 years of experience as a software developer
- Advantageous with prior experience of development in regulatory controlled environments, preferably US 21 CF R Part 820, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and/or ISO 27001
- Prior experience in developing and deploying scalable SaaS solutions
- You are a team player and have prior proven success in a technical team leadership role
- You have strong communication skills, with excellent command of both oral and written English
- You have a strong sense of ethics and principles and have a pragmatic and holistic thinking with a strong business acumen.
- You have experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders to figure out reasonable ways forward
- You are a good team and project leader with strong organisational skills who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
- You have prior experience of leading remote/outsourcing -based development teams.
